What we'd like you to do

CLOSED: This discussion has concluded.

This Discussion Paper contains sections with questions seeking your input. Please provide input where you would like to contribute. When addressing the questions, please provide any examples you may have, as they can help the CER better understand the issue. If there are questions for which you have no feedback, do not feel obligated to provide a response. If there is a topic or a subject that you would like to address that isn’t covered by this discussion paper, please do so by emailing accessible@cer-rec.gc.ca. All input will be considered in the development of the Accessibility plan.

We ask all interested parties to provide their input by October 14, 2022. The CER will use input received through this process to continue the development of an Accessibility Plan that will respond to issues raised during engagement with Indigenous peoples and other stakeholders, including those issues and recommendations which have been previously provided to the Regulator (e.g., from the Indigenous Advisory and Monitoring Committees; Internal Committees).

Engagement
The CER is implementing targeted engagement to seek input for the implementation of the Accessible Canada Act. The CER has drafted a list of potential interveners, including Indigenous peoples, who will be asked to provide input on the topics covered by the discussion paper. Opportunities for engagement and input will be posted on the CER’s Consultation and Engagement Activities webpage.
