Engagement Skills Assessment

This exercise should take approximately 30 minutes to complete and will help identify and plan training and experiential opportunities for ECoE members to continuously improve CoE skills and knowledge base and the CER's capacity to engage.

Please fill out this survey before October 1, 2024. At our ECoE meeting October 9, 2024, we will share observations on consolidated results (where are the ECoE’s strengths, where are there gaps), gather feedback on the process and discuss next steps.

Instructions

1. Sign out of your CER Dialogue account to ensure anonymity (choose the "logout" option at the beginning of the survey)

2. Open the self-assessment survey using the link provided

3. Carefully review descriptors linked in the survey (see tabs in file) to self-assess your knowledge/skill/experience in each category. The survey only has headlines of the descriptors.

• Have = Yes: You can apply your knowledge, skill and experience in this area without support or with minimal support

  • If you do meet a large majority (80%) of the knowledge/skill/experience indicated in the descriptions without support, consider your answer a yes.

• Don’t Have = No: You do not have the knowledge/skill/experience in this area or, you need support to apply it in this area

  • If you do not meet a large majority (80%) of the knowledge/skill/experience indicated in the descriptions without support, consider your answer a no.
