The CER Data Team Seeks Your Feedback

We are making continuous improvements to our publicly available regulatory database and we need your help. Led by the Government of Canada’s Directive on Open Government, we will host feedback sessions to ensure our data initiatives are transparent and accessible for residents of Canada. Sign up below to indicate your interest in participating in a feedback session, and we will contact you to confirm your availability.

The next available feedback sessions will be scheduled for September 2020.

Who can participate?

Anyone! You do not need to be familiar with this data or the CER to participate, and we welcome anyone to apply.

How will feedback be used?

Your feedback will guide direction for increasing accessibility, discoverability, and participation within this publicly available database so that all rights holders, stakeholders, and residents - including landowners, scientists, and students - can more fully engage with the CER’s open data.

What happens in a feedback session?

Feedback sessions will be hosted by a CER Data Team member, who will ask participants to share their ideas, experiences, and observations about our public regulatory database, its documents, and suggested improvements. Activities might include a survey, usability study, workshop, or interview. Details of the feedback session will be confirmed at the time of follow-up, so that you may have the opportunity to agree to or decline the session. Sessions will be conducted remotely and require access to the Internet and an Internet browser. With your consent, sessions may also be recorded to relate feedback to CER staff. Recordings and notes will be protected pursuant to Canada’s Privacy Act. Provision of your information is voluntary and anonymous (see the Privacy Notice on this page for details).

How long is a feedback session?

Approximately 45 minutes.

Withdraw your interest at anytime
